Many of you know I have been quiet on here for some time now. It is due to me going back to university to pursue my degree in education. I have an upcoming project that I would love to share with you. To follow along read my most recent blog entry "Reflection of place"
Living Wylde-ly to me is a philosophy or way of life. It is allowing our own inner guide to lead and point us in the right direction, keeping us on the path that keeps our hearts and souls truthful and happy. It is tuning in, being mindful, playful, and of course creative. It is allowing and loving our inner radiance to shine brightly.
The world focuses so much on educating our minds full of information and knowledge to the point of overload. This information driven age has knocked us out of balance and so many of us gravitate to screens to "dumb down" and numb out of our realities. A bad habit we have come to by default and I wish to knock that flat on it's ear if I can.
It is my goal that through my classes I will encourage us to be more aware of these choices that affect the quality of our life but to educate the innumerable benefits to mind, body, and spirit that organically occur when we become more in sync with the seasons and immerse ourselves in nature.
As a parent and an educator, I am always looking for ways in which to engage and motivate ourselves and our children to be independent free learners in their development of self. I happen to truly believe that Nature can be our greatest teacher.
